Mozzarella and Potato Bites

Golden roasted potato cups loaded with homemade tomato sauce and gooey melted mozzarella — a fun, cheesy evening snack that kids absolutely love. No onion, no garlic, just pure Sattvik deliciousness.

Method

    Wash the potatoes and boil them in salted water until just tender, about 15 minutes. Do not over-boil — they should hold their shape.

    Let the boiled potatoes cool slightly, then slice each one in half lengthwise.

    Using a small spoon, scoop out a shallow hollow in the centre of each potato half.

    Spread a generous spoonful of homemade tomato sauce into each hollow.

    Top with a good handful of grated mozzarella cheese.

    Sprinkle chaat masala and a pinch of salt over each puff.

    Heat butter in a pan or oven tray. Place the filled potato halves and roast on medium heat (or in an oven at 180°C) for 10–12 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden.

    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves if desired and serve immediately while the cheese is still gooey.
